Those little dudes in the picture? I'm getting a collection of them - Calvin and Marie bought me little bunny dudes at Christmas. They'll go in my curio cabinet (when I get one), along with my Mom's figurines. I'm not really big on knick-knacks, but these are cool.

High: Calvin!

Low: ...who has to spend the night up North tonight.

Back to back meetings from 9:00 to 4:00. Even through lunch.

Brownie Points Redeemed

You didn't really think Calvin would let Valentine's Day go by without *doing* something about it, did you? I didn't either, really. I gave him his Valentine (a box of chocolates that ended up melting while they were in the car, my usual Valentine letter, and a little heart shaped picture frame with a picture of us in it) last night since he was leaving early this morning for destinations North. Marie got her Valentine last night, too - a card, a red stuffed bear, and a little oil lamp with roses suspended in it.

I teased Calvin a bit about being Valentine-less, *knowing* he was up to something. He had that look, if you know what I mean. Just like Michael, he really can't keep a secret. He disappeared for a bit, rummaging around in his work truck, and then we went out and sat in the spa for a while. When I came back in, that stuff up there was waiting on the bed.

Uh huh. Love me some Calvin, I do. I mean, really, the way we feel about each other, as if he'd let Valentine's Day sneak by.

Brownie Points restored, all's right with the world. Heh. Have a happy Valentine's Day, everybody!
