Something New!

I put together a sample entry page. It also lists all the collaborations that I've contributed to.

Momentary Thought

Good God, what a production. I didn't realize how many places my e-mail address was listed.

High/Low

High: Nothing's come up yet. It's Monday, forcryingoutloud.

Low: Calvin's up in Flagstaff for the night.

Current Obsession

Getting my darned homework done. Two more weeks of this class...

Grin Source

A "problem solving flow sheet" that's circulating the office via e-mail. "Does the damn thing work?" Yes/No "Did you fuck with it?" Yes/No ...

Singing

Because I've *always* got a song stuck in my head, I'm adding this. Today, it's "All you want is right here in this room..." Dido - No Angel

Good grief. I thought it would be a good idea to change my e-mail (or more specifically, ~Snerkology~ and Storyteller's e-mail) from the CompuServe account. We're not going to be subscribed to them forever, and once we cancel the subscription, away goes the e-mail account.

What a nightmare it turned out to be. Not only did I have to change the link on the index page, but I also had to change it on my archive main page, 2000 and 2001 archive pages, bio page, "cast" page, links page, recipes page, and welcome page. Plus I had to change it on Storyteller's main page and archive page. PLUS I had to change it on the Storyteller pages that I created for contributions. **PLUS** I had to change it on all of April's ~Snerkology~ entries. I only did April because the thought of changing 120+ entries from last September until now was just too daunting.

Oh, but wait. It gets better. I figured Dreamhost would like to know where to find me now, since they host my site and all. So I changed my e-mail address there. And I changed it on Dreamhost's Unofficial Directory. Open Pages has me listed for both ~Snerkology~ and Storyteller, so I gave them a head's up. Twice, one for each site. Same deal with Diarist.net. Then it was off to Notify List, where I not only had to change the e-mail address for it, I had to unsubscribe myself at my "geckotlc@cs.com" account, and re-subscribe myself at my new "snerkology@hotmail.com" account. For the ~Snerkology~ list *and* the Storyteller list. I sent out a message to each list letting them know of the change. I also shot a head's up to Com*pen*di*um, where Storyteller is listed.

AND, to top it all off, I changed my profiles at ThreeWay Action and Squishy so all my friends in the forums would be able to contact me. Still have to update at the Squishy Webring, though, if I can figure out how. Probably takes an e-mail to Pamie.

I'm positive I forgot someplace. Good Almighty Loving God. If you see anyplace (other than the entries from March and prior) where I've got my old e-mail listed, let me know, would ya? Or if I'm signed up for your webring or collab or something that I'm forgetting? There's a love.

After all that crap, I'm not up for an epic entry. We had a blast at the Phoenix Zoo on Friday (and if you haven't checked that entry out yet, please do so. I'm stupidly proud of myself for getting those thumbnails to work. Even though it wasn't hard at all). Saturday I can say the most exciting thing I did was go grocery shopping. We ate grilled fillets and shrimp sauteed in butter and garlic, accompanied by rice pilaf and asparagus. I think we may have watched a movie in there somewhere. Oh, yeah. I watched "Wit" on HBO. My God, I cried my eyes out. What a powerful movie. I have so much respect for Emma Thompson.

Sunday we slept in until 11:00. Calvin made burgers for lunch, and I prepped a roast for the crock-pot. The kids picked at their Easter candy, and went with their respective friends to the movies. The roast ended up turing out like total crap - stiff and dry and tasteless. It happens that way sometimes - crappy cut of meat or something. So! Instead of roast and potatoes and carrots, etc. etc. for Easter dinner, we had Taco Bell. Go, us!

We watched The Sopranos (yo, was it really necessary to show the guy straining on the toilet?), and then watched "Red Planet" on DVD. Marie was having a tough night last night, upset over boy troubles, so we let her stay up with us to watch the movie. We let her stay home from school this morning and sleep in.

(ACK! Pause here while I call in her absence - I totally forgot...)

Calvin *should* have stayed home this morning. He was barfing his brains out, and when he left for work he was still gray and shaking. Human beings are not supposed to be that color. His darned work ethic spurred him on, though. He's doing an overnight thing in Flagstaff tonight.

And that brings us pretty much current.

Missing in action:

Is Miss Shelley (with an "e") still alive and kicking?

How about Jette? Her last entry, ominously titled "No More Anhedonia?", was on March 30th.

Come baaaack!
