Snagged...

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Grandma's passing. I still don't feel like writing about that, and because of that I don't feel like writing about much of *anything*. So I did a lazy girl's entry today. Snagged from Sherry who snagged it from Kelly.

PAST

· First grade teacher's name: Mrs. Morris - who, after checking my elementary school's website, is still working there!
· Last word you said: "Luvbye" to Calvin, who is home today with a migraine.
· Last song you sang: I have no idea. I listened to NPR on the ride in this morning, and haven't heard any music since yesterday afternoon when Calvin and I were sitting in the hot tub. Michael's "thrum thump thrum" of the bass in his bedroom doesn't count.
· Last thing you laughed at: My idiot dog Gadget, leaping head-height on the other side of the french door, over and over again, because I let Gypsy in and gave her a treat.
· Last time you cried: Yesterday - it was the one year anniversary of Grandma's passing.

PRESENT

· What's in your cd player: The newest would be the new Def Leppard CD, Billy Idol's greatest hits, and Aerosmith's "Rocks".
· What colour socks you're wearing: None - I'm wearing sandals (nod to Dana, though).
· What's under your bed: Two shoe boxes and three stuffed animals.
· What time did you wake up today? 5:30 in the a.m.

FUTURE

· Where do you want to go: Greece. Italy. Hawaii.
· What is your career going to be: Queen of the Universe.
· Where are you going to live: Whidby Island in Washington.
· How many kids do you want: The jury's still out on the whole reproduction thing.
· What kind of car will you have: A Mercedes. The new wicked cool sporty one I saw on TV this weekend. It's name is an alpha numeric thingy I can't remember (Calvin says "CLK-55").

CURRENT

· Current hair: Light brown, layered, highlighted.
· Current clothes: Blue jeans, black sleeveless knit top, black sandals.
· Current annoyance: I don't know, being at work I guess.
· Current smell: Stale recirculated cubicle air.
· Current longing: A tropical vacation.
· Current desktop picture: A white horse in a meadow of flowers.
· Current favorite artist: That guy who makes the blown glass sculptures whose name escapes me, but I saw his stuff at the Phoenix Art Museum earlier this year.
· Current book: "These High Green Hills" by Jan Karon.
· Current worry: Calvin's health, my upcoming dentist appointment, surgery on my feet, my upcoming trip to Oregon.
· Current time-wasting wish: Win the lottery, what else?
· Current hate: Meetings. And one woman in particular who insists that I didn't answer her "multiple requests" for information, when she only sent me *one* short, terse note on the 8th. Fuck her.
· Current favorite article of clothing: My coverall shorts. Osh Kosh B'Gosh! (American Eagle, really)
· Current favorite word: Addlepated.
· One person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to: Nobody, really.
· One person you wish was here right now: Grandma.
· A line from the last thing you wrote to someone: "We know you have good taste, dear! :)" sent to K of Thoughts and Whatnots, assuring her that we'll like the wedding present she's sent out to us. (Hooray Presents!)
