Life's blood.

While I'm waiting for that to brew, I put together tonight's dinner.
Elegant Chicken, prepared in the crock pot sans rice, which I'll cook when we're ready to eat.

Oz, patiently waiting for his breakfast.

Hot dogs - I let them in, it's 10:00, and it's already eleventy bazillion degrees outside.

A covert shot of Calvin mowing the lawn, through the blinds on the french doors in the bedroom. He's going to kill me when he sees this. See the risks I take for my loyal readers?

Me, in my grubbies, ready to clean. Am I as thrilled as I look, I assure you.

The bath stuff from Michael and Lilly for my birthday.

Marie, looking pretty with the kitty. She is triumphant after convincing Calvin to go see "Alien vs. Predator". He purchased tickets on-line after informing me that I have absolutely no choice in the matter and am required to go see this movie. I have no interest. See the sacrifices I make for my family?

Alas, I am required to go to work tomorrow. Not only are we *not* millionaires, our "jackpot" came to a grand total of two dollars. Ah, well, better than a kick in the ass, I guess.

Marie's boyfriend Chris has arrived, and we're watching MTV while waiting until it's time to leave for the movies.

Waiting.

Calvin is still fussing at me for taking his picture so much (quoth me, "I can't help it if you're so pretty!"), and decided that it was best to capture photos that allow his
true personality to shine through. Why yes, he
is making an obscene gesture with that beer bottle. I'm so proud.

We head to the mall, and the Harkin's theater. (pic courtesy of Marie in the back seat)

Me, gulping in the A/C (pic courtesy of Marie).
The movie was ih, I was expecting it to be more scary. We walked out of the theater and were confronted with massive thunderheads, and so we high-tailed it back home.

Dinner, with Calvin demonstrating how a gymnast should "stick it" when they land.

Ending the evening by watching some gymnastics. Note the storm warning.
I need to get my butt off this computer before lightning strikes. I leave you now, as promised a million years ago, with some photos of Michael, Lilly and the baby that they sent to us a few weeks ago...
