October 21/22 Part II

Without further adieu...

I've got three million other details to regale you with (and I know you're *so* interested in the descriptions of our trials and tribulations), but I'm in a Photoshop frame of mind (didn't Billy Joel have a song about that? No? My bad.)

bedpost Here's the detailing on the bedpost. I just thought it looked pretty cool.
*First order of business* - It took us an hour to clean off all the construction dust, but clearly we have our priorities. TV, stereo, and the discovery of really cool acoustics in the living room. "Do a little dance, make a little love..." Party on, Wayne.
The computer room Look closely, because you'll probably never see it this clean again. The computer has basically been taken over by the kids' video games, but I do occasionally use it. Mostly to FTP what I've written on my laptop.
Our new dresser, already packed to overflowing. I took the T-shirts off the hangers (for crying out loud).
More flying saucers Do we have an alien fetish? It seems all our lighting is flying-saucerish. These are the lights in our entryway.
View into the family room, which will be pool-table clad on Monday. Note the beer bottle on the half-wall. A necessity for any moving weekend.
The left is the family room, the right is the dining room For your viewing pleasure, the flooring. Ooooh...
And another light, this one in the upstairs hallway.
Earth to kitchen... You wanna see more lights? Okay. Over the kitchen bar...
Where we're sitting right now, watching "She's All That". Makes the whole house smell like leather. Which I don't consider a bad thing.
I thought I'd finish off with a contribution from Marie. This was taken from our hotel room window one morning last week. And peace reigned in the countryside...
