December 12, 2004All (and I mean ALL) I want for ChristmasI am a Pretty Pretty Princess. As such, I should be spoiled beyond all that is reasonable. I now present to you my Christmas wish (HAH - fantasy) list 2004**, in no particular order: ![]() Sony NW-HD1 20 GB Network Walkman Digital Music Player. Amazon's price: $349.99 Just the mere concept of having a portable MP3 player with 30 hours of playback time and the capacity to hold up to 900 CD's worth of music, well, plainly gives me goosebumps. ![]() Nikon D70 Digital SLR Camera. Amazon's price: $1,234.87 I've seen this one cheaper at other sites, but only as low as in the $900's. So, damn. But, DAY-AMN! Incredible camera. I was convinced by Heather. ![]() HP Photosmart 7960 Printer. Amazon's price: $229.99 Because I sometimes actually like to hold actual physical pictures in my hand. I'd go with the 7760, but I want the ability to print black-and-white, too. ![]() Toshiba 62HM94 62" DLP Integrated HDTV with Cable Card Slot. Amazon's price: $3,098 (wow, over $1k off retail). DLP is da bomb. I like the idea of watching TV that's so clear it's like looking out a window. Plus, you know, the widescreen is great, me being such a fan of letterboxed movies. ![]() Sirius Satellite Radio - with car and home adapters, and headset for Total Walking Around Goodness. Sirius Price: $189.00 There is no end to my need to be entertained at all times. ![]() Audiovox D1020 10" Portable DVD Player. Amazon's Price: $549.99 This thing is SO COOL. Detachable speakers, TV and radio tuners, ability to play movie through truck speakers, wireless headphones. ![]() Maytag Neptune® 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Drying Center™ w/Upper Drying Cabinet . Sears price: $999.99 Seriously. Laugh if you want to, but to own one of these things has been a passion of mine since they came out. I mean, how cool is it to be able to hang-dry, and lay things flat, and not have to tumble and clonk your tennis shoes around in a regular drum dryer? ![]() Maytag Neptune® 27 in. Front Load Washer with LCD Touch Screen Controls . Sears price: $1,099.99. May as well throw in a whizzy-bang washer, too. Our washer and dryer are on their last legs. Loyal things that they've been, since 1994. ![]() KitchenAid KFP600 11-Cup Ultra Power Food Processor. Amazon's price: $139.99 Continuing with the domestic trend for a moment. I need this. I. NEED. THIS. ![]() All-Clad LTD 9-Piece Cookware Set with Nonstick Fry Pan. Amazon's price: $639.99 Another must-have. I am a domestic goddess. ![]() The Leopards Lair. CatsPlay price: $409.99 Can you even BEGIN to comprehend how much fun Oz would have with this thing?!? ![]() Gypsy Caravan. Tumbleweed Tiny House Company's price: $9,990 Ever since reading "Danny Champion of the World", I've always wanted a gypsy caravan. Tumbleweed has a lot of other really cool models, too. If you're willing to pay that much for what amounts to essentially a playhouse. Which, of course, every little girl (and boy, probably, though I can't speak for them) wants. And finally... ![]() 2006 Corvette C6. Chevy's price: Who knows. Over 50k, I'm sure. Hey, as long as I'm wishing... ** Editor's Note: This is in no way, shape or form a plea for any of my readers to actually purchase any of these things for me. It is simply a reminder list to myself, for when I win the lottery. *** Editor's Other Note: All pictures courtesy of respective product websites. Comments on this entry? Head on over to Colloquial!
