The Short Version

I was born in Maine. I have a half-sister who is ten years older than me. My parents divorced when I was three. My mother passed away when I was eight, and I went to live with my Grandmother, who was a Jehovah's Witness. I got married at 17, moved to Arizona at 19, and got divorced at 22 (well, technically, 23). Calvin moved in with me in 1998, his two kids moved in with us full-time (changing their week-on, week-off schedule) in 1999, and we built an 850sf addition onto our home in 2000.

I work full-time at AcronymCo, a semiconductor company. The rest of my time is spent writing, reading, cooking, partying, dealing with the dogs, keeping the cat out of trouble, being a step-mom, and enjoying my relationship with Calvin.
