Lost in Translation

We watched Lost in Translation last night, and really liked it. For those of you who have seen it, something's bugging me that you may be able to answer. WHAT did he whisper to her, in the end? Or are we supposed to come away with our own theories about what that was all about?

Huh!

Got a phone call this morning from the salesman who sold us our Avalanche. Seems he actually went and bought the Silverado we'd traded in.

How very weird

I went grocery shopping on Tuesday after work. Last night as I was getting dinner together, I realized that we are missing a good chunk of our groceries. I looked in the freezer for the hamburger, and couldn't find it. And I realized that the two packages of chicken I bought weren't there, either. I pulled the last bottle of Ranch dressing out of the cabinet, and didn't see the two new bottles I'd purchased (we go through Ranch pretty fast in our house). I put my lunch together for the next day, and couldn't find the six-pack of yogurt.

Hamburger, chicken, ranch, and yogurt. How very weird.

Be my buddy!

Well, crap. When Calvin canceled our AOL, I guess that canceled my former sign-in name on AIM. So! I've set myself up as "snerkology" on AIM (update your buddy lists!). This also means that I've lost ALL of the buddies I had (like Sherry, and Shelley, and Jessamyn, and Heather (hey, Heather, you never called me back!), and Marie, and some of Marie's friends, and Dawn, and Nicole, and Michael and Lilly, and a bunch of others). Can you guys (and anybody else who would like to IM with me!) shoot me an e-mail or leave your buddy name in the comments so I can get my list back again?

I feel so disconnected.

New entry, as advertised

There's a new entry up, about our ski trip.

An Obvious Realization

I do a damned lot of writing (which you couldn't tell when I only have four total entries for the month so far over at ~Snerkology~, huh? A new one will be up tonight). In the last few days:

- Aforementioned entry, longish.
- Portfolio assignment #5 for MicroEcon
- Portfolio assignment #6 for MicroEcon
- Five page English paper, edited twice
- Daily entries in my 10 Plus Journal (I'm keeping up with it, Athena!)
- Assorted entries in this blog
- A large-ish presentation for work
- A medium sized presentation for work
- E-mail, e-mail, and more e-mail

I think it's physically impossible for me to *not* write on a daily basis.

I can't say that I'm shocked.

But I am sad. Angel has been cancelled.

(edited to add a link to Joss' comments.)

LOVED IT

I LOVED the finale of Sex and the City. I think it ended just right for everybody involved. I don't want to post any spoilers here, but I will in the comments, so if you haven't seen it yet then don't look.

I only fell once

Hello all! We're back. Had a FANTASTIC time, which I'll write all about soon. Really, the biggest news is that as squirrely as I am on skis, I only managed to fall once. And it was a sit-down, really. Doesn't qualify as a fall at all! (Calvin says I had snow where there shouldn't have been snow, but I still say it was barely a fall at all.)

We're off to get some Taco Bell, I just wanted to drop in and say hey.
