Snerkology - The Weblog Version

Snerkology is going to take on a new format for a while. I've decided to turn it into a weblog format, to see if I can update more often. I still want to write, but find myself with odd random moments to do so. So instead of doing full-blown HTML entries that take more time and have to be uploaded at home, I'm trying out a Blogger site.

The new URL is http://snerkology.com/blog/snerkology.html. Update your bookmarks! I'll still keep the original site - I'll probably get back to it someday. But for now, I have a new job, and school, and I need to pay more attention to my family than I have been lately. This should work better for a busy life.

I got the job! The manager had very nice things to say about me! As Jen Fu would put it, I feel pink and fuckin' sparkly!

That Damn Cat

I'm surfing away on the net when a repetitive sound comes to my attention.

"rattle THWAP! squeak squeak rattle THWAP! thwap squeak THWAP!"

I lean forward on the couch and look around the corner of the wall toward the stairs. And there sits Oz, next to the CAT FLAP!, smacking the flap with his front paw. He turns his head, looks at me looking at him, and without even breaking eye contact reaches BACK behind him with his HIND foot and gives the CAT FLAP! a kick.

"rattle THWAP!"

Which is Oz language for, "Get up, you lazy bitch, and feed me!"

Which I did (because I'm a good bitch), and he has stopped.

I am lazy, though, and I need to get up off this couch and do the following things:

1. Go to the gym;
2. Clean the house;
3. Shower;
4. Do homework,
5. Obsess about whether or not I got the job I interviewed for (nod to Heather, who is going through the same anxiety, except her boo-boo is bigger than mine.)
