| In the beginning, I had a bit of control over who read my website. There were very few people that I told about it, and very few readers that knew me "in real life". Then the word started getting out, and the readership grew from a few on-line friends and Calvin, to Marie, and Michael, and their friends, and Calvin's family, and Calvin's *ex*... At any rate. The subjects and topics which that audience would deem appropriate (or that I deemed appropriate for them to know) started to shrink, and I started to feel rather stifled about what I could and could not write about. So I decided to learn how to password protect selected entries, so I could free myself up to write about... oh, sex, and private stuff, and things that I think about that may not be appropriate reading for some. To that end, I've set up a Notify List for the password protected entries. All you have to do if you want to be informed of when they're posted and how to read 'em, is to sign up. If I don't know who you are, I'll shoot you and e-mail if I question whether or not you should be allowed access. If I deny you access, rest assured that it's not because I plan to gossip about you and rag on you in the private pages. If I say no, I'll have a good reason. Yeah, I could keep a personal, hand-written journal for this stuff. But writing longhand, I've found, is a pain in the ass. Here's the link to join the list: |
